CRS

The Certified Residential Specialist designation is considered the "master's degree of real estate."  Every CRS Designee must have a proven track record in the business, as well as advanced education in related areas of finance, technology and marketing.  The training of CRS Designees includes a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real estate business. The CRS designation is awarded by the Residential Sales Council.

CRS designees are recognized for advanced study in listing, selling, investment, taxes, and a proven record of experience in applied residential marketing.  Less than 4% of all Realtors hold this designation.  To receive this honor, a Realtor must complete the required courses offered by the Residential Sales Council of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and must demonstrate specific expertise in applied residential real estate marketing.  Every CRS has undergone a rigorous, specialized course of detailed training, aimed at making residential transactions as smooth and worry free as possible.
